Thrust ball bearings

Thrust ball bearings are designed to withstand thrust loads during high-speed operation and consist of ring-shaped races with grooves through which the balls roll.

Depending on the shape of the race, they are classified as flat-race or self-aligning spherical-race types. They can withstand axial loads but cannot withstand radial loads.

Thrust ball bearings are available in both single-direction and double-direction types.

Features

1. Precision grades: P0, P4, P5

2. Size range: 30 mm¨C1,000 mm

3. Both single-direction and double-direction types are available in self-aligning spherical seat configurations or with spherical seats.

Thrust ball bearing with aligning seat washer

Self-aligning thrust ball bearings, comprising a shaft ring, a spherical self-aligning race and a ball and cage assembly, are capable of withstanding axial loads in one direction; the spherical design of the race compensates for misalignment during installation.

Features

¡¤  Comprising a washer-type shaft ring with a ball-rolling raceway, a spherical self-aligning outer ring, and a ball and cage assembly, this unit is        split and can be disassembled.

¡¤  The inner ring is mounted on the shaft as the shaft ring, whilst the outer ring features a spherical surface on its outer side and can be used in        conjunction with a self-aligning washer

¡¤  It withstands axial loads in a single direction only and does not bear radial forces; the spherical structure provides self-aligning capability.

¡¤  CNC drill press spindles, automated handling equipment, precision inspection and positioning platforms, large-scale fishing tackle winding mechanisms, small and medium-sized hydraulic equipment

Stainless steel thrust ball bearings

Stainless steel thrust ball bearings, comprising two rings (an inner ring and an outer ring) and a stainless steel ball and cage assembly, are capable of withstanding axial loads in a single direction and offer excellent rust and corrosion resistance.

Features

¡¤  CIt consists of a washer-shaped stainless steel ring with a raceway for the balls to roll in, and a stainless steel ball and cage assembly.

¡¤  The part mounted on the shaft is called the shaft ring, whilst the part mounted in the bearing housing is called the housing ring; the entire unit

    is made of stainless steel.

¡¤  It withstands axial loads in a single direction and is suitable for use in damp, corrosive and clean environments.

¡¤  Vacuum pumps, disc hubs for agricultural machinery, compressors, presses, clutches and brakes.

Applications

Although the terms are different, axial loads and thrust loads are the same.
