Thrust cylindrical roller bearings
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings consist of ring-shaped raceways (inner ring and outer ring) and an assembly comprising cylindrical rollers and a cage. The raceways are machined with a convex profile, ensuring an even distribution of pressure between the rollers and the raceway surfaces. These bearings feature a separable design, are capable of withstanding unidirectional axial loads, and offer high axial rigidity.
Features
1. Consists of an outer ring with a flat raceway, cylindrical rollers and a cage assembly; the rollers are of a straight cylindrical design.
2. The ring mounted on the shaft is called the shaft ring, whilst the ring mounted in the bearing housing is called the housing ring.
3. It can only withstand axial loads in a single direction and cannot withstand radial loads.
Product Information
Single-direction thrust cylindrical roller bearings
Single-direction thrust cylindrical roller bearing consists of two rings (an inner ring and an outer ring) and a cylindrical roller and cage assembly, and is capable of withstanding axial loads in one direction.
Features
¡¤ Consists of a washer-shaped ring with a flat raceway, cylindrical rollers and a cage assembly.
¡¤ The ring mounted on the shaft is called the shaft ring, whilst the one mounted in the bearing housing is called the housing ring.
¡¤ Withstands axial loads in one direction only; cannot withstand radial loads.
¡¤ CHeavy-duty hydraulic presses, spindles for large vertical machine tools, vertical shaft equipment for the mining industry, large gearboxes, heavy-duty metallurgical equipment, axial support mechanisms for ships
Applications
Double-direction thrust cylindrical roller bearings
Double-direction thrust tapered roller bearings consist of one shaft ring, two housing rings, and two sets of tapered roller and cage assemblies, and are capable of withstanding axial loads in both directions.
Features
¡¤ It consists of an axial ring with a double-sided flat raceway, two single-sided raceway housing rings, and two sets of cylindrical roller and cage assemblies.
¡¤ The central axial ring rotates with the shaft, whilst the two housing rings are fixed in the bearing housing, providing bidirectional axial restraint.
¡¤ It can withstand axial loads in both directions, offering high rigidity and stable positioning accuracy.
¡¤ Spindles for vertical precision machine tools, large vertical pumps, steel rolling equipment, injection moulding machine screws, heavy-duty construction machinery.
Applications
Thrust ball bearings may be subjected to radial loads, which can be detrimental to the bearing; therefore, the clearance specified above is recommended. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings, however, are structurally designed not to bear radial loads, and therefore do not require such a large clearance.
