Tapered roller bearings
Product Information
Metric tapered roller bearings
Metric tapered roller bearings, comprising an inner ring, an outer ring, tapered rollers and a cage assembly, are capable of withstanding radial loads and combined unidirectional axial loads.
Features
¡¤ Comprising an inner ring with a tapered raceway, an outer ring, tapered rollers and a cage assembly.
¡¤ The inner ring is mounted on the shaft and rotates with it; the outer ring is mounted in the bearing housing and is generally fixed.
¡¤ Capable of withstanding both high radial loads and unidirectional axial loads simultaneously.
¡¤ Automotive gearboxes, construction machinery, gear reducers, machine tool drive shafts, agricultural machinery transmission components.
Applications
Imperial tapered roller bearings
In addition to the metric series, tapered roller bearings are also available in an imperial series. For imperial series bearings other than four-row tapered roller bearings, the inner ring assembly and outer ring each have their own designations; the bearing designation structure is broadly as follows.
The outer ring is cup-shaped, whilst the inner ring assembly is conical; these are sometimes referred to as sub-units that make up a single bearing (unit).
The bearing designation is formed by listing the inner ring assembly (conical) and the outer ring (cup-shaped) in that order.
Double-row tapered roller bearings
The structure and characteristics of combined tapered roller bearings and double-row tapered roller bearings are shown in Table 1.
Features
¡¤ Capable of withstanding radial, axial and torque loads in any direction.
¡¤ High load-carrying capacity and high rigidity, making them particularly suitable for applications requiring high torque rigidity.
Applications
¡¤ Industrial machinery gearboxes, roller neck supports, cantilever axles.
